Fruity Fare

Easy to prepare dishes that are healthy and tasty are suggested here. Try ur hand at these delicacies and enjoy the lip smacking preparations

Grapes 'N' Sprouts

Ingredients:

Moong sprouts 1 cup

Cucumber(small peices) 1/2 cup

Tomao(chopped) 1/2 cup

Green grapes 1/4 cup

Black grapes(halveded) 1/4 cup

Chaat masala 1 tsp

Coriander leaves(chopped finely) few

Method:

Mix all the ingredients together well and serve chilled.

Grape Shrikand

Ingredients:

Thick curd 1 cup

Castor sugar 1/4 cup

Grpaes(black, halved) 1 cup

For Garnishing:

Almonds(finely cut) 1tbsp

Cardomom powder 1/2 tsp

Safforn few strands(dissolved in a tbsp of warm milk)

Method:

Beat the curd and sugar . Add half of the cardamom powder.

Fold in the grapes. chill . Serve garnished with almonds, cardamom powder and saffron.

Apple Kalakand

Ingrdients:

Milk 1 litre

Sugar 6 tsp

Almonds and pistachios(finely sliced) 1 Tbsp

Citric acid few crystals or few drops of lime juice

apples (grared) 2

Cardamoms 4(powdered)

Method:

Boil Milk in a heavy -bottomed kadai till it reduces to 1/3 rd of the original quantity.

Add a little citric acid or few drops of lemon juice so that the milk curdles a bit.

Add sugar and let it to cool.

Mix in the grated apple and cardamom powder

Sprinke the almonds and pista before serving it chilled.
