Stripped coffee Pudding

This dessert recipe was given to me by friend who loves baking and trying out new ones. It was a hit recipe . I am now sharing the recipe which my friend shared wth me a few years back.
Stipped coffeePudding
Ingredients:
Milk maid 1/2 tin
Water - 4 cups
Pure inst. coffee powder - 8 tsps
Sugar -4 tbsps
Cream -1 cup
Gelatine - 4 tbsps
Cherries(optional)- few

Method:
1. Soak gelatine in 1 cup of water. Dissolve by heating over a pan of hot water
2.Dissolve coffee powder in remaining 3 cups of hot water. .Divide the liquid into 2 equal portions
3.To 1 portion add sugar and half the portion of the dissolved gelatine . Keep aside. This is the black coffee jelly mixture.
4. To the other portion add milk maid and remaining gelatine , mix well, to get milk coffee jelly mixture
5. In a small loaf tin pour 1/2" layer of black coffee jelly mix. Chill until set.
6. Pour 1/2" layer of milk coffee jelly mix, over set coffee jelly mix and chill set. Repeat layers until jelly mixtures are used up. Chill until set
7. Dip loaf tin in hot water to loosen jelly. Invert over a plate. Whip cream till thickbut flowing
8. Cut jelly into thick slices and serve with whipped cream and cherries.
